WINNEMUCCA — Green Valley’s quest to win a fourth straight state wrestling title got off to a solid start on the first day of the Division I tournament Friday.

Darwin Rost, the only head football coach in Palo Verde history, went 154-50 with the Panthers and won the state title in 2004. His 2008 team is the last Nevada squad to beat Bishop Gorman.
