Sophomore guard Anthony Hunter scored a game-high 20 points to lift Durango to a 61-55 victory over Foothill in the Tarkanian Classic’s Orleans Division on Friday night.
Daniel Plummer scored 14 of his game-high 23 points in the first half, and Democracy Prep stormed to a 30-13 halftime lead en route to its 61-41 victory over Palo Verde in the Gatorade Division bracket on Thursday night.

Tyree Hayes had 21 points on Thursday, and Sunrise Mountain’s boys basketball team held on for a 75-70 road win over Moapa Valley in Overton.
Trey Woodbury scored 29 points to guide Clark to a 79-62 home victory over Desert Oasis on Tuesday night.
Desert Oasis had three players score 20 or more points and rolled to a 93-77 home win over the Trailblazers.

George Tribble had 20 points and eight rebounds, and Brian Washington supplied 12 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots as Cimarron-Memorial’s boys basketball team stormed back to beat Centennial at home, 58-55.
Durango’s Anthony Hunter scored a game-high 24 points, including his team’s final nine points, to help the seventh-ranked Trailblazers hang on for a 65-64 road win over Las Vegas High.
The Traiblazers return six lettermen, but must replace three of their top four scorers from last year.
Durango High School is hosting the Durango Fall Classic this weekend for the 23rd consecutive year.
