Jeriel Thomas, Nevada’s fastest 400-meter runner, won his heat in 48.73 and finished second in the Sunset Region preliminary race on Saturday.

Zaylon Thomas won two individual events and ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay team Wednesday to help Centennial’s boys track team win a four-team meet at Palo Verde.

Allen Tyes won one individual event, ran a leg on a winning relay team and finished second in another event Wednesday to help host Sierra Vista’s boys track team win a three-team meet against Durango and Calvary Chapel.
