Kade Frischknecht had 23 kills, 11 digs and three aces, and Sam Belnap recorded 43 assists and 11 digs as Centennial’s boys volleyball team came back from a two-set deficit to stun host Palo Verde 20-25, 24-26, 25-22, 25-20, 18-16 on Tuesday.
Charles Pollnow had 20 kills, 12 digs, four blocks and two aces Thursday as Bishop Gorman’s boys volleyball team held on for a 24-26, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18, 15-11 road win over Las Vegas.
Jaden Mohler had 26 assists, three aces and 11 digs to help Silverado’s boys volleyball team to a 25-22, 12-25, 28-26, 25-19 win at Sierra Vista on Wednesday.
After winning two of the first three sets, Shadow Ridge took an early lead in the fourth before Silverado started its comeback attempt. But with the help of their cheering section, those doubts were put to rest and the Skyhawks held on for a 25-16, 20-25, 25-12, 25-19 win.
Edher Aldaco had 42 assists and three aces Wednesday, as Cimarron-Memorial’s boys volleyball team squeaked by host Bonanza 25-17, 21-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-9.
Sam Belnap dished out 48 assists to help the Centennial volleyball team to a 20-25, 25-15, 24-26, 25-15, 15-11 victory over Las Vegas at home Tuesday.
Tyler Olsen had 10 kills and seven blocks as Silverado’s boys volleyball team rallied for a 21-25, 24-26, 25-21, 25-12, 15-13 road victory over Desert Oasis on Thursday.
The Mustangs hope to contend for the region and state championship.
