Sunrise Mountain’s Alyssa Guevara- Canales had seven aces and 15 digs to lead the Miners’ girls volleyball team to a 21-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-19 victory over visiting Desert Pines on Tuesday.

Haylee Makue-Vasconcello’s two-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning drove in Katy Orellana from second base with the winning run to lift Tech’s softball team to a 4-3 home win over Chaparral on Wednesday.
Shelby Carvalho hit an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Liberty’s softball team to an 8-7 home win over Basic on Monday.
Sam Pope and Kevin Pindel combined on a four-hitter Monday as Silverado’s baseball team beat visiting Coronado, 3-0.
Ray Ramirez singled home the go-ahead run in the seventh inning Saturday, lifting Las Vegas High’s baseball team to a 6-4 win at Silverado.
Sadie Christian went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Skylar Glaude was 2-for-4 with a double and and two RBIs to lead Foothill’s softball team to a 9-4 victory over visiting Rancho on Monday.
Bonanza’s baseball team gunned down a runner at the plate in the bottom of the ninth to end the game and preserve a 2-1 road victory over Spring Valley on Monday.
