The win was one of several that hit at casinos across the Las Vegas Valley over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
The brainchild of Jay Sarno and Stan Mallin opened to the public on Aug. 5, 1966, at a cost of $24 million. Its rotunda is set for demolition.
Just after 11 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department was dispatched to a resort “for reports of smoke showing near the roofline,” the department said.
