Mark Wahlberg has paid a fortune for a plot of land in a wealthy Las Vegas enclave, records indicate, raising the prospects that the movie star will build a house in America’s casino capital.
Howard Hughes Corp. is investing in Jean-Georges Restaurants, which has dozens of locations, including two on the Strip.
The eight-bedroom, nine-bathroom house features a Roman-style interior, an indoor fountain, custom chandeliers, a home theater, a security room and marble flooring.
The famed television personality and cookbook author plans to open The Bedford by Martha Stewart in Paris Las Vegas this spring.
