Centennial
With a talented group of underclassmen, Coronado scored 449 points Friday to roll to the Class 4A Desert Region title at UNLV.
The Cougars finished with 452 points to claim the title. Green Valley finished second with 444 points, and Bishop Gorman finished third with 284 points.

Nicco Festa’s one-out single off the pitcher’s leg plated Anthony Olheiser with the winning run in the seventh inning as Coronado’s baseball team walked off with a 5-4 win over visiting Green Valley on Friday.
Before Saturday, Green Valley already had 21 Sunrise Region champions from pole vaulting alone.
Centennial’s Cooper Powell pitched a perfect game with four strikeouts on Thursday as the Bulldogs beat visiting Desert Oasis 10-0 in five innings.
