Centennial
With a talented group of underclassmen, Coronado scored 449 points Friday to roll to the Class 4A Desert Region title at UNLV.
The Cougars finished with 452 points to claim the title. Green Valley finished second with 444 points, and Bishop Gorman finished third with 284 points.
Jake Phillips swept the hurdle events Saturday to lift Bishop Gorman’s boys track team to victory in the Heitkotter Invitational at Faith Lutheran.

Centennial’s boys cross country team had three of the top six runners on Monday to win the Bud O’Dea Classic freshman race at Desert Breeze.
Coronado’s Leili Rosenberg headed in a cross from Olivia Meza with three minutes remaining to lift the Cougars to a 2-1 win over a depleted Palo Verde squad in the championship game of the Las Vegas Kick-Off at Faith Lutheran.
