Skyla Faught had 26 kills and 31 digs, and Brooklyn Stone had 40 assists and 24 digs Wednesday as the Las Vegas girls volleyball team rallied to beat host Legacy, 25-27, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-11.

Centennial’s girls cross country team couldn’t have had a better day Saturday.
Christof Glad scored in the first half, and Moises Medina tacked on a second-half goal Thursday as host Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team shocked defending Sunset Region champion Palo Verde, 2-0.
Jenna Wyson and Samantha Arteaga went 3-0 in doubles, including the clinching point in the third round on Wednesday to lead Silverado’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 home win over Cimarron-Memorial.
Garrick Quackenbush’s goal off a corner kick just five minutes into the second half Wednesday broke a tie and allowed Cimarron-Memorial’s boys soccer team to defeat visiting Western, 2-1.
