Centennial
Sophomore Caden Kirby hit a three-run home run to help Green Valley, No. 2 in the Review-Journal’s Class 5A rankings, cruise past No. 5 Centennial on Thursday.
Five Centennial girls basketball players scored in double figures at the Bulldogs easily put away Shadow Ridge on Wednesday night in their league opener.

Riley Schwartz threw for 111 yards and two touchdowns, and Marcos Canales had 123 yards on 16 carries for the Crusaders in a 35-0 Northwest League win.
