Bryan Montoya had two goals as Palo Verde’s boys soccer team earned a 4-0 home win over Shadow Ridge on Wednesday.
Hannah Ferrara had two goals and two assists, and Karissa Martinez and Sierra Vicente each had a goal and an assist to lead Arbor View’s girls soccer team to a 5-0 home win over Centennial on Wednesday night.
Kylie Gibson had 17 kills, four aces and two blocks to help Bishop Gorman’s girls volleyball team win the Class 4A Sunset League with a 19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 home win over Durango on Friday night.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
Jazmyne Walker had 14 kills, served up eight aces and had 17 digs for the Legacy girls volleyball team Monday to lead the Longhorns past the Bengals on the road, 25-6, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20.
Justin Madsen and Tristan Valles each finished 2-0 in singles on Monday to lead Centennial’s boys tennis team to a 13-5 home victory over Sierra Vista.
Tjaeden Giles finished 3-0 in singles, and Basic’s girls tennis team topped host Silverado 10-9 on a tiebreaker on Monday.
John David posted a 2-1 record to guide Arbor View’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 road victory over Spring Valley on Thursday afternoon.
Audrey Boch-Collins posted a 3-0 record in singles play to lift Clark’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 home victory over Bonanza on Thursday afternoon.
Kaitlyn Kowalchuk had two goals and an assist Saturday to power the Coronado’s girls soccer team to a 5-0 victory over Damonte Ranch in the Howell Memorial Tournament in Reno.
Jocelyn Bybee scored two goals in the second half to lead Lone Peak (Utah) to a 4-0 girls soccer win over Arbor View in Highland, Utah, on Friday.
