Jacquellen Stobbe’s 41 assists, five kills and two aces helped Pahrump Valley’s girls volleyball team hold on at home and beat Tech in a Class 3A Southern Region semifinal Tuesday, 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 17-25, 15-12.
Pahrump Valley senior Bryce Odegard finished the 3.1-mile race in 17 minutes, 36 seconds on Friday to capture his second consecutive individual region cross country title and lead the Trojans to the team title with 39 points.
Bryan Montoya had two goals as Palo Verde’s boys soccer team earned a 4-0 home win over Shadow Ridge on Wednesday.

Caiden Jacob went 3-0 in singles Monday to help the Desert Oasis boys tennis team edge visiting Centennial 10-8 in the completion of a match that was rained out last week.
