Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom is proposing using federal coronavirus relief funds to give $100 to every person who gets vaccinated, the latest incentive to be offered in Nevada.

Nevada on Wednesday reported 931 new coronavirus cases and 28 deaths over the preceding day — the latter a concerning number that was inflated by delayed reporting.
The Southern Nevada Health District’s recommendation extends to both those vaccinated against COVID-19 and unvaccinated people.
The three cases of a mutant version of the highly contagious delta variant were detected during genetic sequencing of positive coronavirus tests at a state lab.
