A Las Vegas federal judge has denied a request by a group of Clark County School District families seeking to compel CCSD to immediately reopen for in-person schooling.

Brought by the families of six students in special education, the lawsuit filed on Aug. 21 claims the district has denied students with disabilities a free and appropriate education during distance learning.
The Clark County School District will remain in distance learning through the remainder of the semester, according to a message from Superintendent Jesus Jara.
