Emilia Mason had 20 assists and five aces Thursday to lead Spring Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-13 victory over host Canyon Springs.
Aydin Sachs won two individual events Saturday to help Arbor View’s boys swimming team to a 197-102 win over Faith Lutheran at Pavilion.
Madelaine Lauger, Stephanie Platt and Allison Warnick each won one individual event and finished second in another Saturday to guide Palo Verde’s girls swimming team to a 201-92 victory over Centennial at Pavilion.
Kaitlyn Horstdaniel and Samantha Taylor each homered in a five-run seventh inning that lifted the Las Vegas softball team to a 9-5 win at Silverado on Wednesday.
Jerald Murray and Alex Grafiada combined on a three-hitter, and the Silverado baseball team scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to edge visiting Las Vegas 1-0 on Wednesday.
