The Nevada Supreme Court has rejected a request for class action status for claims of damaged stucco from faulty construction by Del Webb Communities involving nearly 1,000 Sun City Summerlin residents.

An appellate court on Monday upheld a $19 million judgment against “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis in a slander case filed over his claims that casino mogul Steve Wynn had threatened to kill him.

James Zipf, 30, of Henderson admitted in federal court Thursday that he pointed a laser at Las Vegas police helicopters earlier this year. Zipf pleaded guilty to one of six felony counts. The other counts will be thrown out as part of a plea agreement.
