A woman is accused of extorting $12 million from a Las Vegas businessman, and authorities have gone to great lengths to conceal the man’s identity.

Clark County prosecutors are seeking to extradite the California woman arrested in Denver last week, accused of killing her son and disposing of his body in Southern Nevada.
“If you would do that with your infant child in the car, it gives the court very grave concerns as to the safety of the community,” the judge told Lauren Prescia, 23.
