A man accused of beating a victim to death and mutilating his face in downtown Las Vegas might go to trial.

Deobra Redden’s attorney, Carl Arnold, said that Redden was pleading not guilty by reason of insanity, and was invoking his right to a speedy trial.
Ruben Robles was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 15 years for opening fire at the Fremont Street Experience, killing a man and wounding a bystander.
