Prosecutors plan to seek capital punishment for two men accused of committing a string of armed robberies that left two people dead on New Year’s Eve.
Jurors began discussing potential sentences Friday for the man they convicted in the shooting death and robbery of a Las Vegas-area rapper.
“There is no question that these two defendants are a danger to the community,” Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Harmony Letizia said.
The federal trial, which began in July, took a weeklong break in early February following four days of closing arguments from attorneys on both sides of the case.
