The spring signing period opens Wednesday with several Southern Nevada athletes expected to sign letters of intent. Agassi Prep”s Deishuan Booker will not be one of them. The 6-foot-2-inch point guard will try to earn a Division I scholarship offer before the signing period ends May 20.
Patrick Savoy didn”t receive any scholarship offers after completing an all-state senior season with Las Vegas High. But the 6-foot-4-inch shooting guard hopes that will change this spring when he plays with Dream Vision AAU on the travel basketball circuit.
