Demitri Diamant and Carson Wells scored the go-ahead runs on Santino Panaro’s fielder’s choice in the top of the seventh inning Monday as Bishop Gorman’s baseball team edged Juan Diego (Utah), 3-1 in the All-Catholic Classic at Gorman.
Liberty’s Hayden Prasad scored his second goal of the game with 15 minutes remaining Monday, and the visiting Patriots knocked off Bishop Gorman 2-1 in boys soccer.

The field for the boys 400-meter dash at the Division I state track and field meet was billed as the fastest in state history. The lineup for the 200 was pretty stacked, too.

Jamie Yanchisin went 3-for-4 with two runs and four RBIs to help Cimarron-Memorial’s baseball team rout Skyline (Utah), 12-1 in the championship game of the Little Caesar’s Invitational in St. George, Utah on Saturday.
