Winning pitcher Tyerra Kaaialii belted a go-ahead three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning Monday to help host Sierra Vista rally for a 14-10 win over Green Valley in the quarterfinals of the Mountain Lion/Blazer Classic softball tournament.
Carlos Chavez had 13 kills Friday to help Sunrise Mountain’s boys volleyball team rally for a 27-25, 16-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-13 win at Eldorado.
Isabella Skrinjaric scored the game’s lone goal as Legacy’s girls soccer team battled out a 1-0 home win over Eldorado on Monday.

Ariana and Andrada Stanciu each finished 3-0 in singles, and Sierra Vista’s girls tennis team won the tiebreaker 5-1 to claim a 10-9 road win over Shadow Ridge on Friday.
