Lea Williams scored a game-high 19 points Thursday to lead Rancho’s girls basketball team to a 53-32 win over visiting Basic.

The Sierra Vista boys basketball team used a 25-point third quarter to build a commanding lead and invigorate the fans that made the trip, taking down Desert Oasis 67-56 in the Diamondbacks’ house and claiming “The Rock” rivalry trophy.
