Yvette Sanchez went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, and Sam Pochop pitched six innings of relief and drove in two runs to help Rancho’s softball team rally for an 11-7 win at Green Valley on Monday.

SOFTBALL: Ariel Wilson powers Mojave past Legacy

Ariel Wilson went 2-for-3 with a triple and allowed three runs over five innings to lift Mojave’s softball team to a 6-4 home victory over Legacy.

SOFTBALL: Foothill builds early lead to defeat Rancho

Sadie Christian went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Skylar Glaude was 2-for-4 with a double and and two RBIs to lead Foothill’s softball team to a 9-4 victory over visiting Rancho on Monday.

Las Vegas’ softball team took advantage of an error to score the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning, and the host Wildcats edged Basic 4-3 on Tuesday.

Sophie Foster went the distance and struck out eight Saturday to lead Faith Lutheran’s softball team to a 10-3 win over Desert Oasis in the championship game of the Colorado River Invitational in Needles, California.
