According to Metro, the investigation was centered in the 1700 block of East Charleston Boulevard, a few blocks west of the Charleston intersection with Eastern Avenue.
The caller, who did not give his name, told a dispatcher that he and Atomic Liquors bartender Hope Ritter had parked in front of his house to talk. Then, he said, he heard gunshots.
The shooting was captured on camera, as were the two men running from the scene, police said. No other people were seen on video near Hope Ritter’s car, according to the report.
Two men have been arrested in the death of Hope Ritter, a bartender at Atomic Liquors.
Hope Ritter, 29, “radiated hope,” said Glen Johnson, leaning on the patio railing outside Atomic Liquors, where his friend of two years used to bartend before her death.
