Las Vegas edged Durango 10-7 on Friday to win the Class 4A Mountain League title and clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Two high school games were canceled Friday — league games between Arbor View and Foothill and Chaparral and Sunrise Mountain — that could affect playoff chances and seeding.
Liberty was missing about 40 players because of COVID protocols, but because the Patriots have so many players out for football, they were able to play the game.
Brayden Bayne helped Centennial to the 2019 Class 4A state championship game with 63 points as a kicker and a 36.5-yard average as a punter.
