North Las Vegas police arrested the suspect, who attends Cheyenne High School, in connection with the death of 18-year-old Dalvin Brown on the campus of Canyon Springs High School last week.
The Clark County coroner’s office released Dalvin Brown’s cause of death Thursday afternoon, two days after the student was shot outside Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas.
Clark County school Superintendent Jesus Jara announced the move on Wednesday, saying the new group — which will consist of parents, students, teachers and community members — will deliver recommendations by Dec. 1.
