Bishop Gorman High School senior Sophia Adrangi, now 17, took the SAT in fall 2018 — and got a score of 1600 — and the ACT in April.

Legacy Traditional School’s southwest Las Vegas campus opened Aug. 8. About 1,600 students are enrolled at the tuition-free public charter school.
The students won the competition’s “Mission 2” challenge, open to third- through 12th-graders. There were three divisions: elementary, middle and high school.
