Brian Dewhurst grabs a pipe and cranks out a few chin-ups while waiting for his cue. It’s a twice-nightly routine to loosen up before climbing a ladder and emerging on the “Mystere” stage at Treasure Island. Dewhurst is no typical Cirque du Soleil artist. He’s a clown. And this particular day is his 80th birthday.
