The food at Giada was fantastic, the airy restaurant with its sweeping view of the Strip very pleasant, and service really very good — aside from some subtle and not-so-subtle upselling.

Last spring, students from UNLV’s Public History program started digging into storage sheds and closets at Culinary Union Local 226 to tell the story of the labor movement in Southern Nevada. On Friday, students will unveil their findings in an exhibit at Lied Library on campus.
