The Centennial girls basketball team defeated Coronado to win the Class 5A state title Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Centennial forced 27 turnovers en route to an easy win over Reno in the Class 5A state semifinals Friday at Cox Pavilion, while Coronado held off Bishop Manogue.
Even on an off night, the Centennial girls basketball team remained excellent, cruising to yet another resounding victory despite some atypical struggles.
