Bishop Gorman’s girls basketball team led by as many as 14 points in the fourth quarter, but Cimarron-Memorial tied it with 1.2 seconds left to force overtime. Caira Young had a pair of buckets in the extra period, and helped her Gaels win 75-73 on the road in the quarterfinals of the Sunset Region playoffs.
Foothill’s Keilani Brown scored 13 points Wednesday as the Falcons defeated host Basic 56-39 to secure the Southeast League’s No. 2 playoff seed.
Autumn Westmoreland had 14 points on Monday to lead Arbor View’s girls basketball geam to a 55-51 road win over Legacy.
Taeha Pankey scored a season-high 27 points, and the Longhorns’ girls basketball team used a 19-6 first-quarter run to take control and fend off Cheyenne, 61-52.
