Samantha Thomas led a star-studded cast with 24 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals Friday as Centennial’s girls basketball team dominated for a 73-52 home win over Skyline (Utah) in the Platinum Bracket final of the Las Vegas Holiday Classic.
Samantha Thomas, a junior who transferred from Marian High in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., with her sister Bailey prior to this season, scored 31 points as host Centennial routed Reno, 91-56 in the title game of the Las Vegas Holiday Classic.
As final minutes of basketball games go, Jayden Eggleston’s last minute on Tuesday is pretty difficult to top.
