The Shadow Ridge softball team sent 11 batters to the plate in a seven-run inning and cruised to an 11-1 victory over Banning (California) in five innings in the third-place game of the Spring Jamboree.
Gavin Amelburu was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and the Gators pounded out 16 hits en route to an 11-5 win over Basic, which was ranked No. 12 nationally by USA Today.
