Jacob Ceci had 15 kills, 11 digs, nine aces and four blocks Friday to help host Coronado’s boys volleyball team to a 26-28, 25-13, 25-20, 25-14 win over Durango.
Garin MacFarlane had 20 kills and eight digs on Tuesday to help Shadow Ridge’s boys volleyball team outlast visiting Foothill, 20-25, 25-27, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13.
Justina Coronado caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from Jennifer Haberstock in the second overtime Monday to lift Green Valley’s flag football team to a 31-25 home victory over Bonanza.

Gabriel Miranda scored on a penalty kick in the final minute for Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team Saturday to force a draw against Western. The Crusaders won 4-3 in penalty kicks at Green Valley to advance to the finals of the Southern Nevada Kick-off Classic.
Coronado’s volleyball team won two matches Saturday to complete the weekend 6-0 and win the Gator Classic at Green Valley.
