The Coronado girls basketball team played an extra game during the Gator Winter Classic, meaning Tuesday’s Gold Bracket quarterfinal at Green Valley was its fifth game in four days.

Silverado girls basketball coach Dean Bosch wasted two timeouts during a span of 1 minute, 10 seconds in the second quarter. After the second one, Bosch warned his team they may need the timeouts at the end of the game.
