Jessica Meza’s three-run double capped a four-run top of the eighth inning Thursday as Liberty’s softball team outlasted host Arbor View, 15-13.
Fabian Torrez’s two-run double with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning capped a four-run rally and lifted host Legacy’s baseball team to a 6-5 win over Spring Valley on Thursday.
Anthony Hunter hit a 3-pointer with four seconds to play to give Durango’s boys basketball team a 67-66 road win over Sierra Vista on Friday.
Jasmine Richardson scored 13 of her 29 points during a third-quarter run that lifted host Basic’s girls basketball team to a 50-40 win over Mojave on Friday.
Emma Breslin won two individual events Saturday at Pavilion to lead Bishop Gorman’s girls swimming team to a 156-140 win over Arbor View.
Sydnie Hopkins had a goal and an assist to lift the Basic girls soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Desert Pines.
Joel Sanchez scored two goals, including the winner on a penalty kick, for the Desert Pines boys soccer team at home Wednesday as the Jaguars edged Bishop Gorman 2-1.
Tech’s Abel Martinez hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning to drive in Bryan Casas for the go-ahead run as the Roadrunners edged Del Sol 9-8 at Silver Bowl Park on Friday.
