A 25-year-old Washoe County man is the nation’s first COVID-19 patient proven to have been reinfected by the new coronavirus, according to the Nevada State Public Health Laboratory in Reno.

The term is used when a local lab obtains a positive result when testing for a disease and sends it to the federal CDC to be confirmed.
Their vessel was turned away from at least 11 ports of call out of fears that passengers could spread the new coronavirus from China.
