New cases, deaths and the positivity rate all showed declines in state data reported Tuesday.
The new high in fatalities came just eight days after the state broke the previous high mark of the coronavirus pandemic.
The updated figures posted to the state Department of Health and Human Services’ coronavirus website brought cumulative totals for Nevada to 253,985 cases and 3,596 deaths.
The state on Friday reported 2,866 new coronavirus cases and 55 additional fatalities, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
The boom in new cases of COVID-19 reported by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services came a day after the state set a new record for daily deaths with 60.
The updated figures posted to the state Department of Health and Human Services’ coronavirus website brought state totals to 235,455 cases and 3,235 deaths.
