More than 80 percent of the 525 inmates at a Carson City prison have tested positive for coronavirus, according to results released Friday by the Nevada Department of Corrections.
The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services ordered nursing facilities to stop using antigen testing after the tests proved inaccurate.
Nevada reported another 357 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, with 239 of those patients being tested in Clark County according to state data.
Many shoppers in the Las Vegas Valley were already heeding new federal guidance advising people to wear face masks in public places, even before it was actually issued.
