The Clark County district attorney’s office will not file criminal charges against a Las Vegas officer who shot and killed a knife-wielding man in August during a welfare check.
One person died early Friday after the second of two shootings in less than six hours at a west Las Vegas apartment complex.
The attorney for Noah Hadley, accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend after a Henderson house party, called the young woman’s death a “tragic accident.”
Michael Rakem Menephee, 20, was pronounced dead on Saturday at University Medical Center, three days after he was shot at a northwest condominium complex.
