Spencer McDonald, 30, confessed to the slayings of Dina Vail, Andrew Graden and Christopher Brassard but did not provide a specific reason for killing them, an arrest report says.
Three people were found dead in an apartment in the western valley Tuesday. A suspect was arrested and later identified.
The shooting happened on Centennial Parkway, between Commerce Street and Kitamaya Street.
A woman was kidnapped at gunpoint at a shopping center at around 7:30 p.m. and found dead inside her ex-boyfriend’s home hours later.
In a video briefing released Monday, police also defended the medical attention the 53-year-old man received while in custody.
