Police added that the man killedhad also been in a confrontation with the shooter and had stolen the shooter’s cell phone just before shots rang out, shedding light on why the shooter is not currently facing charges.
The shooting occurred Saturday evening after the resident confronted the man for casing a neighbor’s house near West Desert Inn Road and Remuda Trail, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
