A homeless man who was stabbed to death in the south central valley late last month has been identified as Michael Lyndon Patty, 55.
Family had reported 25-year-old Michael Anthony Hadley missing in December, but it wasn’t until Feb. 3 that people riding horses discovered his body in the desert near Coldcreek and Bugling Bull roads, Las Vegas police said.
Prosecutors charged Marcus Maddox, 30, with attempted murder in Nov. 19 attack on his wife, but didn’t charge him with murder in his daughter’s death and attempted murder in his son’s stabbing until Jan. 18, after the son identified him.
The body was found about 3:50 p.m. near East Lake Mead Boulevard and Pabco Road, Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Larry Hadfield said.
