Liberty and Rancho rolled to victories Thursday at Faith Lutheran to set up a matchup for the Class 4A girls state volleyball championship.
Liberty
Both are Class 5A state volleyball semifinalists, but Gorman has been the state’s top program in the past five seasons, while Centennial has been rebuilding this season.
Liberty scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to pull away from Arbor View and set up a showdown with Bishop Gorman.
Arbor View and Foothill are the last teams with a chance to stop a potential Liberty-Bishop Gorman matchup in next week’s state semifinals.
