Excitement is high among local small businesses for Small Business Saturday and the holiday shopping season in general as many look to recover from a tumultuous year.
Many retailers are announcing plans to hire thousands of seasonal employees for the holidays, but some are opting to offer more hours to current employees.
Resorts World set out to create a retail center filled with brands not found at neighboring properties such as newcomers like Pepper and returning retailer Fred Segal.
“We are following guidelines from health officials and medical experts,” said company spokesman Timothy Carter in a statement.
