A CCSD substitute teacher punched a student at Valley High School in Las Vegas after the student called him a racial slur, according to an arrest report.

The arrest stems from an investigation initiated at the elementary school northeast of Las Vegas where she is a special education/early childhood reacher.
The ACLU of Nevada announced the lawsuit, which names CCSD Superintendent Jesus Jara, a high school principal and a former principal as defendants.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada released footage of an incident involving a Clark County School District Police Department officer at Durango High School last year.
