A Clark County School District substitute teacher has been arrested on suspicion of unlawful contact with a minor.

Twenty-three students from Goldfarb Elementary School got to meet Mojave Max, the tortoise mascot of the Clark County Desert Conservation Program, at the Springs Preserve.
Haroon Zakai, 44, was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including electronic surveillance at school without knowledge.
The arrest stems from an investigation initiated at the elementary school northeast of Las Vegas where she is a special education/early childhood reacher.
The ACLU of Nevada announced the lawsuit, which names CCSD Superintendent Jesus Jara, a high school principal and a former principal as defendants.
