The Southern Nevada Health District is investigating two cases of active tuberculosis (TB) at two separate schools in the Las Vegas Valley.
The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine held its annual Match Day ceremony, where medical students learned where they will spend their residencies.
The testing was necessary because a Clark County School District employee with undiagnosed active TB visited several campuses including Ruthe Deskin Elementary School .
